About Our Summer Missionary Program

CONSIDER THE TRAINING!

June 19-25, 2010, Gospel Ministries to Children will provide intensive training in all phases of the Summer Missionary Program. This includes the preparation of a series of Bible lessons with the gospel and teaching for the saved child woven in. Training is given in teaching the Gospel, counseling for salvation, memory verse learning, and song leading. The training school staff will be comprised of experienced, qualified teachers who desire to help you become an effective teacher of God’s Word to children. A combination of theory, practice teaching, and actually teaching children makes this training highly effective.

CONSIDER THE  OPPORTUNITY!

Would You Like...

To experience a summer missions venture into the

most fruitful mission field in the world?

To receive excellent training in how to evangelize

  and edify boys & girls?

To share the gospel of Jesus Christ with hundreds

of children (many of whom have not heard before)?

To lead many children to a saving knowledge of

  Jesus Christ?

To be equipped to have a more fruitful, effective

ministry in your own local church?

CONSIDER TRUSTING GOD FOR YOUR FINANCES!

We will be trusting God with you for the financial needs of your training, basic expenses, and honorarium. This will be done by sending deputation letters to 15 or more of your Christian friends and your local church. This simply gives them the opportunity to be a part of your summer ministry through prayer and giving. A more generous honorarium will be sought for those in college.

CONSIDER THE PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE!

After the week of training in El Paso, you will teach 4 Summer Clubs a day for 4 weeks (June 28 through July 23) in the El Paso-Las Cruces area. A Summer Club is a neighborhood Bible class usually held in a Christian home or apartment complex. Children are invited to attend the one-hour-daily club for four days (Monday through Thursday). Many children hear the gospel for the first time. The program ends with a Testimonial Program on July 24th where you will have the opportunity to share what God has done in and through you.

Make Your Summer Count For Eternity
“Jesus said to them, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.’” Mark 10:14
